Work begins on Severn Stoke flood scheme
Construction is set to begin on a new flood defence scheme at Severn Stoke, Worcestershire, reducing flood risk to homes, businesses, and infrastructure in the area.
The Environment Agency and Worcestershire County Council have announced that work will start in late April, with construction being delivered by Alun Griffiths Construction Ltd. The scheme is expected to be complete by Christmas 2026.

Closure of Old Parish Hall Car Park Severn Stoke
Residents are advised that the car park on the site of the former Parish Hall will be closed to all public access. The Parish Council has been notified by the landowners that the Environment Agency has issued a Notice of Intended Entry, allowing contractors to use the site as a construction compound during the construction of the flood bund.
