Parish council meetings in England are governed by statutory requirements under the Local Government Act 1972, supplemented by standing orders and local council procedures.

There are a few rules about public participation at council meetings - mainly concerning when residents can speak and in order to ensure matters such as safeguarding. Everyone welcome to attend. Please see the "information to provide at the beginning of each meeting" document below.
