The Defford Airfield Heritage Group has recently relaunched its website and is encouraging all of us to go and take a good look. The address is DAHG.org.uk
It not only provides a window to the world advertising the Museum and airfield but has become a very valuable research tool for those wishing to explore more about WW2 and in particular what was going on at Defford. Recent usage statistics indicate that the site is gaining in numbers and being viewed from as far away as Canada, USA and most of Europe
The site is also a great way for volunteers new or old to refresh or learn about the Museum and airfield.
It is split into 2 areas; a general area for the public to view, and a member’s area which will then allow those wishing to discover more to enter and download documents. Membership is free and can be accessed by writing to the Secretary, details of which can be found on the site.
